COOMBE HILL – THE BEAUTIFUL ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE IN PICTURES

Hi my lovely readers!

Today I thought I’ll show you some more of the beautiful English countryside. I won’t bother you with too many words, I just want you to enjoy the pictures I took when I wondered around and explored Coombe Hill.

Coombe Hill is a National Trust site 852 feet above the sea level with amazing views of Aylesbury Vale and very scenic countryside walks located in the Chilterns.

From the viewpoint on the top, which is marked with a monument dedicated to the men from Buckinghamshire who gave their lives in the Boer War, you get some of the best views. The best I certainly have had the pleasure to come across in England. I was speechless when I looked across Aylesbury Vale and just felt like I was on top of the world.

Also, located within the hills you can find the Chequers Estate, which serves as a country retreat for the serving prime minister.

Let me know what you think of the English countryside in the comments!
