TRAVEL THURSDAY QUOTE – LOOKING VERSUS SEEING

Hi my lovely readers!

How are you doing? Are you getting ready for the long Easter weekend? I hope you have something fun planned.

I am going to take it easy, sleep in, meet my friend, cook a nice beef roast for Easter lunch and get cracking with blogging. Well, that’s at least the plan. I hope the weather will hold up and I will be able to go for a nice walk or hike or something like that.

Anyways, back to our Travel Thursday Quote!

I would recommend reading this quote I found for you a few times to fully understand it. I love this quote and I certainly read it a few times to get the entire meaning of it and to challenge myself how I view certain things.

“It’s not what you look at that matters. It’s what you see.”

– Henry David Thoreau

I think sometimes we just see things with our eyes without truly seeing what we have in front of us. We visit attractions and destinations and go like, yep checked that of my list.

But have you actually seen it?

Happy Thursday!
