We all have our preconceptions about people, their culture and their country. We listen to what other people have to say and form an opinion from watching movies and TV shows.
But when we actually visit a country that we thought we already knew, we often find out that there is more to what we have seen or heard and that we actually know very little or even nothing about that country.
Travel challenges our views, our preformed opinions about a country and its people, would you not agree?

I always say I do not believe it until I have seen it with my own eyes. Everyone has different experiences and encounters, good and bad. But everyone should come up with their own to contribute to understanding, compassion and respect for each other.
We are all different and the world would be a boring place if we were all the same. We need to embrace our differences and cherish our similarities to have a better understanding of each other.
